SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) is still a challenge for epileptologists and neurologists especially because we don’t really know the cause of death. It’s the first cause of death in young adults with uncontrolled seizures. In the last 20 years, more studies are talking about this subject trying to find the type of patient that will have a SUDEP and try to prevent it.
